Paul Veltman believes in taking a conservative approach to financial growth. For more than 32 years, he has been helping his clients preserve and build on what they’ve earned by providing quality investment management and sensible financial counsel.
Paul has been an independent financial advisor for more than 29 years and has been affiliated with Raymond James since 1989. Raymond James’s history of principled management and stable growth made it a natural fit and a logical choice for Paul. He formerly served on the firm’s Mutual Fund Advisors Board.
Following his graduation from Calvin College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, Paul received his master’s degree from the University of Michigan. Professionally, he holds several licenses, including Series 7 general securities representative, 24 general securities principal, 53 municipal securities principal, 63 uniform securities agent, and 65 registered investment advisor licenses. Additionally, he holds life, accident, health and variable annuities insurance licenses.
Paul is a lifelong and dedicated member of the Grand Rapids community. He has achieved the highest award at Raymond James, the Chairman’s Council Award 21 times and also recently received the Leadership Council Award the past 3 years. Membership in Chairman’s Council and Leader’s Council are based on prior fiscal year production. Re-qualification is required annually.
Paul and his wife, Carol Lynn, have two grown children, Scott and Christen, and four grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, reading, scuba diving, and living on the Thornapple River
